Sunday 16th August 2009 saw Spine Magazine present The Crooked Tongues Summer BBQ in association with Carhartt.

The festivities took place at Rivington Place on Rivington Street (right next to Cargo).

Guest DJs, included the mighty Rusko (with an appropriately beefed-up soundsystem to do his bass-heavy work justice), FunkinEven, Acyde, Zaf and assorted friends and family with skills on the Serato.

With plenty of complementary drinking on the house courtesy of Vodka O and Havana Club, food and a few surprises, the day turned out to be a great success.
