The Carhartt support of the 14 date European Stones Throw tour is being well documented – we now bring you shots from the additional/secret DJ & visuals gig that happened in Manchester on a rainy Monday night that & I quote ‘has been the best gig yet & it will be difficult to beat’ – Peanut Butter Wolf.

We decided to squeeze the extra date into the already tight schedule for several reasons;

1. One of our newest Carhartt stores in Europe happens to be in Manchester so it would be rude not to get it in on the act.

2. The Stones Throw crew, Mayer, James, Wolf & Dam could visit legendary record stores in Manchester in a hunt for the most rare 7’s around – almost 8 hours were spent diggin’ in crates – alarms were set for 8.00am after traveling over night from Nottingham – that’s dedication/obsession.

3. Our friends David (Trus’me) & Nick (Audio Salad) also pressed us to make this extra date happen – thanks for the pressure & hard work lads www.disco3k.com

4. We knew even on a Monday night over 200 Mancunians would be up for the party & at 3.15am Tuesday morning the ‘door men’ finally ‘insisted’ enough was enough!
