Finally! Stones Throw comes back to the UK with a truly inspirational line up of movers and shakers. Here how it went down:

James Pants & The Royal Zodiac - Live P.A
Mayer Hawthorne & The Royal Zodiac - Live P.A
Peanutbutter Wolf - VJ Set
Dam Funk - DJ Set

Mr Pants really knows the UK crowd and got things going on the good foot. More energy than a exploding can of RedBull with a super tight and seamless accompaniment from The Royal Zodiac. However they we're on early, if you missed it , you missed out.

No interval and straight on with Mayer Hawthorne (DJ Haircut), James Pants was on drums and The Royal Zodiac setting the Motown rhythm. Kicking things off with his Debut release "Just Aint Working Out" and only getting through 3 tracks, the set was short, but my god it was satisfying!

Next, a little giggery pockery on stage to set up PB Wolf. Now then, i hope you brought your pen and pad 'cos PBW took us all to school! A real party mix-tape from the archives. Syncing and scratching the video's to go with the tunes, i never you i could watch a screen, dance manically and scream all the lyrics at the same time!! Expectedly was a Dilla tribute to end with.

Dam Funk played us out alongside some of the Stones Throw Fam ending a great night. i never seen such a massive amount of people with massive smiles to boot!

I hope Manchester and Nottingham showed the ST Family what they were made of too....
